Business user may have actually been happier if synergy automatically synced contact information from LinkedIn instead of Facebook, and maybe that’ll be a natural progression of the synergy feature with new updates to WebOS to come. Until then, the LinkedIn application in the Palm Pre apps catalog will have to do. With this application you can see contacts on your online LikedIn profile. The app will also show, via a little number against the name, the degrees of separation between you and any given person’s profile.

You can see any individuals position and company at a glance, without needing to dig in further. You can easily send a connection request from within the application from any screen. The app also integrates with LinkedIn’s messaging service – so you’ll see connection requests, job requests & posts, reminders, and group events. A little envelope icon at the bottom right shows pending new messages. It’s a basic application which advanced users of LinkedIn may find a little sparse – there’s no LinkedIn Answers, for instance – but for the average user, this is more than enough.
