Pandora
This intelligent streaming-radio Palm Pre app is a user favorite and was a launch partner with Pre. The latter status give it some really useful features that make it a joy to use on the Palm Pre. You’ll need a Pandora account to get started, which you can create from within the app. If you already had an account, the application pulls in all your stations. True to Pandora’s nature, this app learns about your music tastes as you listen to tracks and give feedback. Streaming music quality is great.

You’ve seen the video walkthrough of Pandora here previously (see archives) but that didn’t quite show off the nicer features. As Pandora runs in the background, you can access a subset of features directly via a dedicated notification tab. You can thumbs-up or down, play and pause, and see the track title without switching applications. This is an absolute gem of an app, and easily one of the best of apps on the Palm Pre apps catalog at the moment.

Awesome App love using it at work, they block this website on the regular internet access. But thankfully the Pre has WiFi so you just jump on through there wifi and abracadabra you can listen to radio at your desk all day long!
