m:Mafia & m:Vampire

m:Mafia is a multi-player role-playing game that works on several smartphone platforms that now includes the Palm Pre. This means you’ll be able to install the app and join a large community of players already playing this game on the iPhone and other platforms. The gameplay revolves around the Mafia underworld, and if you are familiar with this genre of role-playing games, you’ll be able to get started very quickly. You basically pick a character, avatar, and role and start collecting points by fulfilling the character’s various niche roles. In this game, for instance, you can play the role of a loan-shark.

m:Vampire is a similar multi-player role-playing game but is based on the theme of vampires and dracula. The app is unusual in that it appears to be full-screen on the Palm Pre, even doing away with the traditional top-level menu bar with the app’s name. The gameplay is quite engrossing and the games boast a thriving existing community that you can instantly join. With the same game present on the iPhone and Android devices, with solid reviews, you’ll be joining a happy community of m:Mafia or m:Vampire players. Overall, these are well-designed games with excellent graphics and engrossing role-playing gameplay.
