The Palm Pre comes with integrated email that allows you to sync with Outlook at work and a number of personal email accounts such as Yahoo Mail and Gmail. Configuring your account is pretty straightforward with most webmail accounts only requiring the login and password. Outlook configuration is a little more involved. The integrated view allows you to see multiple inboxes one screen, and it shows you the number of unread messages pending in each mailbox. Little icons to identify each inbox easily makes navigation a breeze.
Once again, Outlook integration for email and calendar easily allows one to move between personal and work life. The email application pulls information from your contact list automatically and displays a photo against your email correspondent if she is already in your contact list with an associated photo. A little navigation bar at the bottom of the screen (more on this later) offers additional functionality and information from within the application.
