It adds a stronger layer of social networking and is certainly more elegantly designed than any of the other similar apps. Other advantages include the ability to send recommendations to your Palm Pre contacts from right within the app.

For instance, if you’re at a specific restaurant, hitting the “I’m Here” button in the app will enable others to see your current location. Built-in mapping and directions round out this rather useful choice in the Palm Pre apps catalog.

The Sprint Navigation application does turn-by-turn navigation and text-to-speech, so you can keep your eyes on the road as you use this nifty app. It comes fully loaded with maps, and the GPS is spot on and accurate even deep within downtown, fully surrounded by buildings and other interference that usually let other GPS systems down.
